Agree: When i read the sheet, the phrase that impressed me the most is the statement: "We're not just teaching kids to kill. We're teaching them to like it". I agree with this statement because right now, there're so many companies that created games that are violent. Not only that, they're also advertise their violent games on the T.V, so everybody could see it. All the kids could see those advertisements, and it would have a really bad impression to their mind. The thing that mostly occurs on these games is killing, fighting, or even sexuality. And these things are not appropriate at their ages, because they're too young to understand that these are just fake. Killing could appears everywhere to kids' minds, and it could stick to their head, and it would form a bad personality for the kids.
Disagree: Besides all things that I agree with Crossman's opinions, there're still some points that i don't agree with him. Crossman compared children's life to soldier's life, that are they have to live in a dark place. But to me, there's a big difference between these two lives. To children, they could see all violent games, or even sexuality, and the only bad thing could happen is when they memorized it and do it. But there's a really small amount of kids who tried to kill people, because they're not strong enough. Besides that, there is no big force to push them to kill people. But for soldiers' life are going to be different. They were trained by the government or by the armies, and they have to kill people (mostly are bad people) if that is a mission from the government. Soldiers have a big force to push them to kill something, and it would be serious.

Should twelve and thirteen year olds be able to play any video game they want?
To my opinion, there're two ways to answer this question. The first answer that I might say is childrenat age 12 or 13 have rights to play any games they want to play. When children playing games, they could express themselves, throw out stress, and relax. Besides that, when children playing games, maybe they could gain more knowledge about life or history. Children understand themselves that what games do they want to play, and what games could make them feel better. But this condition just only could apply to children that know what are they doing, and they have to know how to control themselves. Not only that, they still needed to balance their time schedule between playing and studying.
The second option would be no. The reason that i say children at age 12 or 13 shouldn't play any games they want because it might have a really bad effective to their life. Bangladesh...
After the conversation during class with Mr. Golden, i understood more things about Bangladesh, and i have a different thinking about Bangladesh:
-The first thing that i realized is not all the Muslims are bad like terrorists or stealers. There're still many people that is kind, nice, and friendly.
-The second thing i know is all family wants to have many kids to work for the family to make more profits. And that's the reason why many kids are not allowed to go to school because they have to work and their family also don't have money.
-The third thing that i know is at Bangladesh is very green and there are ponds everywhere. People at low classes usually take bath at the ponds, and they even go toilet, take waters for their living, washing dirty clothes, and that entire thing just using the water in the ponds.
- The fourth thing that i know is at Bangladesh, the pollution is really bad, and there’re open sewers everywhere in both sides of every streets, and it's really smelly, dirty, and there’re some kids fishing on the open sewer.
- The fifth thing that i understand in Bangladesh is the races between man and woman. Most of the people still think that men is more important than women, and all the chores at home, or to feeds the children, seems to be women's destiny. And that's why in school, there're not much girls in school. The races also shows even in a family like the men eats first, than the women eat later, or even they eat in a different place or room. But the women couldn't do anything because they can't fight back.
- And the last thing that i want to say the foods in Bangladesh is really good, and it kind of similar to the Indian's foods. Besides that, the people in Bangladesh usually drink tea more often than coffee.

Children's rights...
After i heard the story from Ms.Patrice, i felt it's so unfair for these children. In the world, adults are not allowed to sell their children with any prices. Their parents sold their kids with 1000 rupies, and they have to work at the factory, and controlled by "Master". That's not what they suppose to do. The children need to go to school, need to have a brighter future than their parents. Iqbal is the guy that spread the message to all children that children need to go to school and don't need to work or listen to "Master". What he did is the really good thing, but he has killed because of his spreading. I think everybody in the world must step into this and protect children that have the same problem... Children are the people that can change the world's future...

Fashion- Lady Gaga
The song “Fashion” is a big connection to my life. I love “Fashion” ever since I was a little kid. My mom said that I knew how to design clothes when I was 3 years old. It’s kind of weird because in my family, no one has worked in this section, and that is what makes me so unique. I really express myself and feel most comfortable when I put clothes together, when I design, when I go shopping, or anything that is related to “Fashion”. Day by day, I realize that I can’t live without “Fashion”; it’s the most important part of my life. And one more reason that pulls me into this section is because I want to see people proud of what they look like, especially women. I heard a sentence that really impressed me because of its meaning: “No one is ugly; they just don’t know how to make them look beautiful”. I want to be the one who can work on the second part: Make people look beautiful. Make others people feel good and give them confidence. This is my dream. I want to be a super successful fashion designer in the world… And I will try my best to be a “FASHION” designer.

I like to travel everywhere, to find new stuff, to understand more about the world. Travel is also a part of my life because when I travel around the world, I can earn more knowledge for myself. The song “Temporary home” of Carry Underwood has a big connection to my life. When I listen to this song, all of my memories just came back from places seems to be forgot. I remember when I was a little kid, I have move to many house and all different places. During that time, my family is normal, not rich or not poor. But my parents want us to have a better life, so we moved everywhere to find best chances to run business. It’s also a hard time for me, but there’re still many funny memories that I can’t forget. Move to many houses, which mean I have to move to many schools. To fit in a new society in school is really hard, but it’s kind of easy for me to fit in, and that also practice for me how to fit in to another society easily. After school, I went home and start to working on my homework. When I have done all of my homework, I’m start to fool around and making new friends. After talking for while, we started to play, and I was really enjoyed it. Those just repeat over and over again. Finally, the place that my parents decide to live is Nha Trang. After several years, I and my brother move to Ho Chi Minh City for studying. Move to many houses, have lots of friends, is really interesting.

When my dream has come true, the first thing that I’m going to do is travel with my parents. Right now, they have worked so hard to give me a good life. They have nothing, so what going to help them get out of the weakness? That is also one more reason that I want to be a billionaire, to help these kids have a better life. The song “Don’t stop believing” has a really big connection to me and it’s also one of my favorite songs. I have lots of hopes and goals in my life, and I really want to conquer all of it. But life is not easy. I can’t have everything that I want, and sometimes I really want to give up. Just like I tried so hard to have a good GPA, more than 3.7 because I want to be on the honor roll. And all I received back after all of that hard working is 3.5. I’m just so disappointed in myself, and I really want to give up. And then my cousin showed me this song. When I listen to this song, I feel better and all of my energy just came back. Then I realized that I can do more than that. I started to study harder and harder. And right now, I got a great GPA, and I feel so proud of myself. After this, I feel more confident about myself. I think if I “Don’t stop believing” in myself, there’s a day that my GPA would be 4.0. Always hope and “Don’t stop believing”, so I would be successful in my life.

But the difference of me and the character in the song is I know how to escape out of that boring box, and I know how to make myself feel better. My favorite song...
"River flows in you" is my favorite song. I fell in love with it when i listen to the melody. I really enjoy the song. I listen to it every day, especially when i am sad. It's really cheer me up. I can't understand the lyrics of the song because it's Japanese. But the way that the singer(Yiruma) express his emotion into the song is so powerful and it's so meaningful.

"Madam and the Rent Man" Questions

The rent man and Madam seem to disagree throughout the poem. Yet, the last line is "So we agrees!"
Why is that?
Answer: Throughout the poem, the rent man and Madam seen to disagree. But at the end, they said "So we agree". I think that sentence shows they are both understood each other's life because their life also the same: old apartment, poor,...
